New World of Warcraft Realms
In
an effort to tide players over until the release
of the Burning Crusades expansion this fall,
Blizzard has released two new realms in Azeroth.
The new realms offer player the opportunity to
create new characters for both
a PvE realm and a PvP realm. The PvE realm is
called Aman’Thul; the PvP realm is called
Barthilas. They will both go live June 9th.

World
of Warcraft at E3!
World
of Warcraft was of course a very popular attraction
at this years Electronic Entertainment Expo.
One big rumor floating around the game is the
possible plans of World of Warcraft heading to
Hollywood! The New York Times is
reporting that Blizzard will announce Tuesday that
its massively successful, massively multiplayer
online role-playing game is set to be made into a
big-budget fantasy picture along the lines of Peter
Jackson's The Lord of the Rings films, with
Warner Bros.' Legendary Pictures handling the
production. Director, cast, release date, and
budget are all undetermined as of yet, but the paper
quotes Blizzard CEO Paul Sams as saying that the
goal is to make "one of the best films in the
world," a World of Warcraft pic that will
appeal to gamers and nongamers alike.
